Lack of professionalism. Never returns calls or concerns on there incompetience. Especially when my insurance recommended them to do a small claim.

The first 4 weeks were demo (it took 1/2 a day) But since then it has been an additional 5 weeks and they have not sent an estimate to my insurance at all. I have called every Blackmon Mooring person that has had any dealing with my claim everyday (2-3 people) only to get their voice mail and leaving messages. NO ONE has ever called me back. I DO NOt recommend using this company at all.

Never do business

If I could give zero stars I would. This company was hired by our landlord to fix the Mold issue in our home.

He had used this company before so when we found out at the last minute,that we would have to temporarily be out the home. So we packed a few sets of clothes and necessities to last us the week we would have to be out. I handed over one key to our home to the manager overseeing the project and we had the only other copy. Fast forward almost three weeks later and still not being back in our home.

We decided to grab some more things and that's when a ring that was passed down to me over 15 years ago from my Grandmother was missing from the dish it is kept in, in our mater bathroom. Two days later it was also discovered two of our guns were also missing. This company placed a lock box with the key I gave the manager and hung it to our garage door. The code to this lockbox I assume is given to the workers because it was brought to my attention that the manager isn't always on site.

This is a huge problem because it gives all the worker from all the different crews access to the code to get the key to our home. When we discovered the items missing ,our home was secured all the doors were locked and windows closed.

We have filed a Police Report and if the items aren't recovered we will see what Blackmon Mooring will do. I will update this when more info arises.

The tulsa branch has gotten rid of 3 black people out of 5 and im sure i will be next they talk to us workers bad and the company should never be on the bbb list because they break peoples belongings and dont even care im .

Raciest and sexiest against there temps

There were mixed languages in the shop that day. We had a saftey meeting that wasonly done on spanish. When we asked them to say it in english she mad very bad comments about what language i understand and tfen called me a liar that she didnt say any thing derogatory. When she was seriously our of line. This is all on camera at a furniture factory place. They way they treat there employees and how they wrongfully fired them is rediculous. She did nothing but talk down on me that hole day. Telling me my task in spanish after i told here seversl of times i dont speak spanish. I was very polite and was disrespected multiple times. This is disrimination. And it will not be tolerated at a job sight tgeseanagers are not professional at all.

Duct cleaning

I would never do business with a company this dishonest again. I was lied to by a technician who cleaned my air ducts that it was guaranteed. When he did a shabby job and ceiling around vents were dirty very soon after cleaning I contacted Blackmon mooring and they would not even return my call. I reported them to BBB Lubbock with no response. I would suggest no one do any business with a company this dishonest and report them to BBB so it will be on record. I only wanted the 10 ducts for $199 but technician said it would not be guaranteed unless I did all ducts so I did. I paid $350. Nothing but lies.

Employer at Blackmon morning and the worst employment ever

Recently the managers have got written up due to all the damages of customers property and lost or theft in the Pflugerville location but to fix the problem the management bone Hernandez and Joe Guzman they rather attack the lore employees trying to shake corporate from them bye figuring out how they can minimize downsize with the employees and they're targeting African-Americans with that said all the damages that usually go out or death comes from the Cubans and Puerto Ricans now here's a person that's mixed with two races Puerto Rican and black so there's no line of racism I'm only speaking for what I have witnessed and seen born with this rate Pflugerville will not stand on a leg I can guarantee you Pflugerville will be shut down in amount of years with that said I hope the black man's reach out and start change in management at the top and that's from Joe Guzman down to bone and finding them some real people that can run that company I'm a business owner so I know when it's time to cut the heads off of snake

I've worked here for 3 months I've noticed the Mexican and women getting raise and the black employees gets drug texted all of them when I am a black man that doesn't do any drugs also I've witnessed the Cuban and Mexican employees doing drugs I feel this company needs a make over at least the pflugerville location but who really cares though this complant want be even reviewed

I contacted the company to clean carpets after having had a successful experience with the company. After finally getting the carpet cleaning scheduled, the technicians flooded my Berber carpet with shoddy equipment. Rather than use its touted water restoration services, the water was allowed to remain overnight. Days passed while the company haggled about what should be done with the moldy, mildewed and smelly carpet. The carpet and padding were removed, evicting my husband and I from the master suite. Our furniture was store in their warehouse. A job that should have taken two hours at most, took two weeks. I am attaching photos of damaged furniture. The company believes that it does not owe use anything other than cleaning the carpet. The customer service was terrible. The manager walked into our home and while talking to me about the problem looked all around the den and kitchen as if he had never seen a nicely decorated home. He then put his hands on his hips and said: "We're not replacing the carpet. We can fix this problem." Two weeks for carpet cleaning! and my bedroom furniture is damaged because they taped the doors and drawers shut and removed the furniture finish. Not through. I'm not going to let them act as if this did not happen.

I am only giving BM 1 star because 0 is not an option. My situation was very similar to others who posted about their experience.

My belongings were treated poorly and were damaged. The crew also used the wash room and left it in the same condition as Ann K's. It is not my job to clean up urine and flush toilets after grown men who are working in my home. They hot glued the carpet onto my spiral stair case which started coming off that same day.

They didn't cover the mattress or other fabric covered furniture pieces and now they must all be discarded. They damaged the freshly painted walls and left hand prints behind. They repeatedly left the front door open and I have pets. It got to the point that I had to lock the door, carry the key with me and escort them to the door when they needed to go out.

They also took 2 hour lunch breaks and smoked in my front yard. The project was left unfinished. The project manager was terrible about communicating with me and the work crew that he out-sourced. The carpet guys showed up not knowing what they were supposed to do.

The PM never came out to check the progress of the job until I insisted. HIs manager came with him and he was rude and condescending. He reluctantly agreed to clean the damaged items, re-paint and re-do the stairs. Initially I agreed but decided that I would rather pay someone else to re-do the project.

If they did such a *** job the first time I highly doubt they would do any better when they weren't getting paid extra. Before they started work, I also asked for an estimate to replace all of the wood trim around my exterior windows. This is a BIG project and would have been very lucrative for the company.

Apparently, they didn't want the business because they couldn't be bothered to get a bid to me. Overall, this is the most unprofessional service company that I have ever had in my home.

Blackmon Mooring - House Repair Review

Obadiha Barnes is compliant out for checking my roof sent by my insurance company Hartford (re AARP). I am informed I do need a new roof.

I want to use one of the three companies I called out for an estimate. Hartford tells me if I don't use Blackmon then I will have a depreciation deduction charge as well as my deductable with held. I say that sounds like the two companies are pulling something on me. Mr Stubblefield from Hardford then explains that if I use another company I can get the depreciation charge refunded IF the company I want to do the roofing does a good job and passes their inspection.

Thus I am obliged to use Blackmore. It takes from Dec to late February to get the roof started, all kinds of excuses. Had checked only Blackmon Motoring is doing the work, no illegals, not being farmed out to another company....Finally at the end of March the roof is finished...All kinds of issues concern me...Why so many days, why is the bare roof being exposed to rain when there was a week of good weather?....Now I don't even get a guarantee whenI have made numerous calls, texed, Emails and voice mails? I am beyond teed off.

I find my company and ask them to come inspect the roof job. The report and photos show broken tiles, old use tiles, not nailed properly, all kinds of errors in how the roof was put on, and that it was a different company paid $6,300 for a poor job when Blackmon charges almost $12,000. Still no guarantee. Numerous complaints to Hartford....Nothing done until I get an independent inspector.

AND why is Hartford's check to me and Obadiha Barnes ...Why is it not made out to Blackmon Motoring? Do not use this company....I think fraud is in the works, not a company Quality job....Justs excuses and taking advantage of people.

Scam

Out in the street with the firemen at 2am. I thought he was a neighbor so I started talking to him.

Had contract in back pocket. Couldn't read fine print by flashlight so they got me good. Did a few days work with shoddy equipment and lollygagging workers and billed insurance for 40k. They damaged furniture and threw cigs in the neighbors yard.

She hasn't talked to us since. They walked the site with the adjuster and then spoke in private out in the street. What did they talk about? Did they already know each other?

Still not sure.

They have possession of our contents and won't give them back until they are paid. Feels like modern day terrorism.

Same experience with us. They even lost some of our property in their warehouse. They were more intersted in charging our insurance as much as possible
